"Planning a wedding in Manila while living in California seems impossible to do. Geez, how will I pull this off?  Thank God for wedding planners!  I hired Ning & Allan Quilatan of Silay Accessoria  at Kasalan, who are actually good friends of mine and did a great job! Thanks Ning & Allan, also to Ate Vic for my gown!  The motif i chose was Filipiniana and it's just fitting to hold the wedding at Paco Park, Manila and hold the reception at TiaTrillo in Intramuros with red and a touch of gold as the color. Tremendous exchanges of emails, chatting and sending of details for the wedding occurred and making sure that all deadlines are met, (technology rules!). I even made a short trip to Manila for some of the requirements, my gown fitting and to meet the vendors, as well as check on the venues to make sure that everything is all set, including the food! Gown measurement & fitting for the entourage was also a challenge because my sister is in canada, my sister in law is here and a friend is in Indonesia,whew!".
